The following photos are from a previous boat building refit that I mainly worked on the external areas of the boat. During my 1.5 years on this yacht I obtained a great deal of experience including how to use tools in efficient and safe ways as well as how to troubleshoot and complete jobs in a manor that is safe and the right thing to do for the customer. The photos I have provided below are all from this project.

Foredeck after all teak deck stripped

Foredeck teak stripping complete and ready to grind down in preparation for new sub deck

Foredeck nearly complete, we also completed the fitting of all windows around the wheelhouse area and down into the saloon. Starting by sanding off old residue from the previous windows followed by a bit of acetone. Then sika primer around the outside of the window before using 296 sika flex to get a nice seal. All holes where necessary, were re-tapped.

Pattern for 2 layers of 18mm ply around the mast ring to be stuck down

2 Layers of 18mm cut and ready for sticking down, due to welds in the corners of this area and around the mast ring, I had to chamfer those areas to ensure that my ply was going to sit completely flat on the bottom layers

All 4 bits of 18mm coated in west and ready for sticking down with epoxy to ensure no leaks under these surfaces

Boarding ladder that needed to be prepped ready for sanding down and polishing every single bit of stainless

Carefully polishing around the teak ensuring that no polishing compound goes on the wood.

Boarding ladder finished and ready to be fitted on board, to complete this I used a 110v drill with a polishing wheel on the end with the correct polishing compound to get the finish I wanted efficiently and done properly.
